San Antonio Zoo offers three Membership options:

• Pay for a Day Membership: $39.99 per person. This Membership must be paid in full at the time of purchase and does not have a subscription option.
• Advocate Membership: $7 per month (subscription) or $84 annually (subscription).
• Guardian Membership: $15 per month (subscription) or $180 annually (subscription).

All Advocate and Guardian Memberships are subscription-based products that include a $25 Initiation Fee. Buyers can choose their preferred payment term:

• Annual Recurring Payment: Pay the total amount upfront, renewing each year.
• Monthly Recurring Payment: Spread the cost over 12 months, with the first payment (Initiation Fee + first month) charged at the time of purchase, followed by 11 monthly payments.

Yes, Advocate and Guardian Memberships offer an annual subscription option with auto-renewal. Guests can pay the total amount upfront:

• Advocate Membership: $84 annually
• Guardian Membership: $180 annually

The Pay for a Day Membership must also be paid in full but does not include an auto-renewal option.

For monthly subscription plans:

• Your first payment includes the $25 Initiation Fee plus your first month’s payment and is charged at the time of purchase.
• The remaining 11 monthly payments are charged automatically based on your purchase date.

For annual subscription plans:

• Your payment includes the $25 Initiation Fee and the total annual fee is charged upfront at the time of purchase.
• The subscription will auto-renew each year unless cancelled.

Yes, the subscription option for Advocate and Guardian Memberships requires a 12-month minimum term.

• For monthly subscription plans, there is a 12-month minimum term.  You may cancel at any time, but all minimum term payments will continue to be collected until the end of that term.
• For annual subscription plans, the full annual payment is required upfront, and the subscription will auto-renew each year.

Yes, you may cancel at any time. If you have remaining minimum term payments on your subscription, those will be collected on a month-to-month basis until the minimum term is fulfilled but then will not be renewed following those payments.  If you chose an annual subscription, you will not be billed for the next scheduled annual payment.  Please note that all cancellations received within 7 days of the next invoice date will be charged for the next invoice and cancelled following that payment.  Once a subscription has been cancelled it cannot be reinstated; a new subscription must be initiated.  To cancel, log into the payment management portal HERE with your confirmation number and order email address.

• For monthly subscriptions, if a payment fails, your Membership will be paused until the past due balance is paid in full. Payment re-attempts will occur until resolved.
• If an account is more than 50 days past due after completing the minimum 12-month term, the subscription may be terminated at the discretion of the San Antonio Zoo.

No, the $25 Initiation Fee is non-refundable and applies only for the Advocate or Guardian Memberships.

Once the 12-month term is complete, your subscription Membership will automatically renew at the agreed-upon rate unless you cancel.
