Discover the sights and sounds of the zoo after-dark on an exciting and educational evening adventure!
Roars & Snores
Age: 5 years and up
Time: 6:30 p.m. –8:30 a.m. the next day, January – Early November
Cost: $60 per person, 20 person minimum
$100 non-refundable deposit collected at registration, final payment due 2 weeks ahead of program.
Sleeping Venue: Education Center
Upgrade to Africa Live! Hippo Viewing: $15 per person
Join zoo experts for an overnight experience you’ll never forget! Before you roll out your sleeping bag for some climate-controlled camping, enjoy animal presentations, zoo activities, and a guided flashlight tour of the zoo after dark. In the morning, you’ll discover how the zoo prepares for the day during a short tour and then head to Beastro for a freshly prepared taco breakfast.
Choose from three engaging themes:
- Nocturnal Adventures: What are the benefits of being active at night versus during the day? Discover how animals like bats, cats, and owls are adapted to exploring the night.
- Grossology: Slime, poop, and pellets, explore the gross side of animal kingdom and learn why some animals benefit from being “gross”.
- Animal Mysteries: Scientists can’t always see animals to make observations and learn more about them. Become an animal investigator and look for animal signs as you solve a mystery!
Pizza dinner, evening snack, and breakfast tacos are included.

This program does not include zoo admission.
