Roars & Snores
Age: 5 years and up
Time: 6:30 p.m. –8:30 a.m. the next day, January – October
Cost: $1,380 for up to 20 participants, $69 per additional participant; maximum 60 participants
$100 non-refundable deposit collected at registration, final payment due 2 weeks ahead of program.
Sleeping Venue: Education Center
Upgrade to Africa Live! Hippo Viewing: $15 per person
Join zoo experts for an overnight experience you’ll never forget! Before you roll out your sleeping bag for some climate-controlled camping, enjoy animal presentations, zoo activities, and a guided flashlight tour of the zoo after dark. In the morning, you’ll discover how the zoo prepares for the day during a short tour and then head to Beastro for a freshly prepared taco breakfast.
As with all of our amazing overnight experiences, pizza dinner, evening snack, and breakfast tacos are included with your purchase.

Sleep with the Hippos! *Africa Live! Hippo viewing upgrade available for select dates.
Did you know, hippos are nocturnal and are also active at night? Imagine spending the night along a riverbank in Africa, with only a few inches of glass separating you and your sleeping bag from a massive 8,000-pound hippopotamus or an impressive 10-foot Nile crocodile!

Sleeping venue: Indoors in the Education Center
Jingle bell rock your way on over to San Antonio Zoo’s Education Center for our Zoo Lights Overnight! Available on select Friday’s and Saturday’s. Your group will explore the magic and wonder of Zoo Lights and end your night with an animal presentation, guided tour, or evening activity! In the morning, your group will be able to hear a variety of early morning animal sounds on a short, guided tour and then enjoy a taco breakfast!
Pizza dinner, evening snack, and breakfast tacos are included.
This program does not include zoo admission.

Zoo Snooze: Rainforest Discovery
Age: 5 years and up
Time: 6:30 p.m. –8:30 a.m. the next day,
Cost: $990 for up to 10 participants, $99 per additional participant; maximum 20 participants

Sleeping Venue: Discovery PLAYce
Let your imagination take flight as you explore the sights and sounds of the rainforest…at night! Get ready to experience a one-of-a-kind evening adventure filled with animal encounters, guided flashlight tours, and engaging activities all about the amazing rainforest ecosystem. Unroll your sleeping bag for indoor camping in Discovery PLAYce, and then enjoy an exclusive morning experience at the John and Greli Less Butterfly Rainforest and the opportunity to explore the rest of San Antonio Zoo in the daylight.

Sleeping Venue: Indoors in Congo Falls – Kim Lewis Family Foundation Rainforest Oasis and The Carroll and Marguerite Wheeler Foundation Underground Viewing
Have you ever wanted to say good morning to a gorilla? Get ready to explore the world of gorillas and other endangered species as you experience a one-of-a-kind evening adventure filled with animal encounters, guided flashlight tours, and engaging activities all about the endangered apes and other threatened species at the zoo. Unroll your sleeping bag for indoor camping near troops of Western Lowland Gorillas in Congo Falls and then enjoy an exclusive morning experience with our Gorilla Animal Care Specialists and the opportunity to explore the rest of San Antonio Zoo in the daylight.
To be able to fully participate in all parts of this program, participants must be 10 years old or older.
