Is there a deadline?
Phase 1 design deadline to purchase your paver bricks is December 31, 2020.
Is there a limit to how many bricks I can buy?
There is no limit to how many bricks you are able to purchase; however, you can only submit one order at a time. Please keep in mind that some paver bricks are limited in quantity as they are part of a unique Jaguar design.
Is the purchase of my Paver brick tax deductible?
San Antonio Zoo is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. For US citizens and residents, the brick donation is generally tax-deductible on your tax returns. The tax-deductible amount will be included in your acknowledgment email at the completion of the order.
Where will the bricks be laid?
The bricks will be laid on our Road to Recovery path along the entrance to Amazonia near the Jaguar habitat.
When will bricks be laid/installed?
Paver bricks will be installed in 2021. Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org for updates on the Paver construction.
How long will my brick last?
Paver bricks will be placed at the zoo for an indefinite time frame and will stay with the zoo for years to come.
What type of messages can I put on a Paver Brick?
Examples of messages that you can put on paver bricks include: In Honor of, In Memory Of, Company, Foundation, or Family Name and many more! Please keep messages on Paver bricks clear of inappropriate language and political messaging. We reserve the right to revoke your brick if we feel it may offend our guests.
Can I choose where my brick will lay in the design?
Donors of bricks of $10,000 donations and above will be allowed to select their premium placement in the layout design. All remaining bricks will be utilized in the design at the direction of the artist.
Will my donation be matched?
Yes, with the help of our generous partners Tres Grace Family Foundation and Las Aguilas Enterprises, the first $500,000 dollars raised will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
