Help Pave the Road To Recovery
Thank you for supporting San Antonio Zoo’s Road to Recovery in 2020! With your generous donations, we raised more than $500,000 to help support our mission in securing a future for wildlife, AND we sold out of our pavers! Your financial contributions have helped our continuation of world-class animal care, educational programs, and conservation projects that span the globe.
A big thank you goes to our Road to Recovery partners Tres Grace Family Foundation and Las Aguilas Enterprises, for their $500,000 challenge gift. With their generous donation, the first $500,000 raised in our Road to Recovery was matched dollar-for-dollar!

WHAT COMES NEXT:
In the spring of 2021, San Antonio Zoo will break ground on our Jaguar habitat expansion catwalk. This construction will continue through early fall. At the conclusion of the habitat expansion, the Jaguar paver design will be installed at the entrance to Amazonia and the start of the newly expanded Jaguar habitat.
In early 2021, the zoo’s development team will be contacting Road to Recovery paver donors to confirm the details of their inscription and begin production of pavers.
Pavers will be installed once construction over the pathway is complete. Donors will be notified of our grand opening to this newly expanded habitat.
Have questions about your paver? Please reach out to our Development Team or read our Frequently Asked Questions.
