San Antonio Zoo has your Spring plans ready!

Thanks for celebrating spring at San Antonio Zoo this season with a buzzingly beautiful festival of Blooms, Bees & Butterflies! From March 1 through May 26, the zoo blossomed into a kaleidoscope of colors that featured larger-than-life glass sculptures of butterflies, bees, praying mantis and more! Guests and friendly pollinators alike enjoyed acres of the zoo’s botanical beauty with daily activities, including animal encounters, dance parties, craft stations, and educational performances all season long!
San Antonio Zoo is home to over one thousand plant and animal species ranging from extinct in the wild to natives of Texas right in your backyard. Blooms, Bees & Butterflies was the perfect environment to see the scenic wonders of nature in full effect alongside astonishing sculptures by artist Alex Heveri’s Glass in Flight Limited Edition exhibit! Plus, get up close and personal with hard-working pollinators at the new John & Greli Less Butterfly Rainforest, featuring hundreds of exotic butterflies and even a free-roaming sloth!
Blooms, Bees & Butterflies was included with zoo admission and FREE for Members.
