VIP Tours
Spend up to four hours exploring San Antonio Zoo in the most unique way. These exclusive VIP tours are the ultimate way to experience the zoo and enjoy special animal experiences with your own personal tour guide. Take a journey to view behind-the-scenes areas and learn more about how our teams of trained professionals care for animals.
All VIP Tours include a private, guided tour throughout the zoo. Guests will receive a complimentary ZOO-venir cup after their tour. Zoo admission is not requried to go on our VIP tours.
Conservation Quest
We are proud of the conservation successes at San Antonio Zoo and around the world. Chat with some of the zoo’s biologists and trained professionals who can share their insights into conservation.
Your three-hour Quest will include several off-exhibit and behind-the-scenes experiences that include our Conservation Warehouse, Nutrition Center, Rhino Experience, Hixon Bird House & Brooder Room Experience, and our Crested Toad Area.
Schedule: Sundays at 10 a.m.

Expedition Adventure
Get an exclusive up-close look the zoo’s most unique species and learn about how our teams are working on securing a future for wildlife.
Your three-hour Adventure will include several off-exhibit and behind-the-scenes experiences that include our Animal Hospital, Okapi Experience, Incubator and & Brooder Room Experience, and our Hippo Experience.
Schedule: Saturdays at 10 a.m.

Wild Encounters
This VIP Tour is all about getting up-close to animals and making a wild connection! Learn about zoo’s most notable animals and meet with the team who care for them.
Your three-hour Encounter will include several off-exhibit and behind-the-scenes experiences that include our Animal Hospital, Giraffe Feeding, Rhino Experience, Flamingo Mingle, and our Hippo Drop Feeding.

- Cost: $300 per guest
- Guests receive complimentary ZOO-venir cup
- Start Time: 10 a.m.
- Tour Dates: Weekdays (Monday – Friday)
- Length of tour: 3 hours
All requests must be made a minimum of 72 hours in advance.
Conservation Quest is available only on Sundays.
Expedition Adventure is available only on Saturdays.
Wild Encounters is available on weekdays (Monday – Friday).
